We have a range of special activities on offer. Whether you're staying or visiting for the day, can enjoy various fun and challenging activities led by friendly, fully qualified instructors. Test your skills at archery, cyber tag or laser clay shooting, or use one of our mountain bikes. All activities are charged as taken, with the exception of bike hire and golf, which are free of charge to JLP Partners.

FREESTYLE FUN
Golf
Enjoy a relaxed round on our 6-hole Pitch & Putt course, set within the hotel grounds. Perfect for beginners, families or anyone who fancies a little friendly competition while enjoying the fresh air.
Football Golf
A fun twist on traditional golf! Kick a football around the course, aiming to complete each hole in as few shots as possible. Easy to play and great fun for all ages.
Frisbee Golf
Swap the golf ball for a frisbee! Make your way around the course, throwing your frisbee towards each target and seeing how few throws you can complete it in.
Woodland Walks
Take some time to explore our peaceful woodland trails, winding through the trees and around our beautiful grounds. Enjoy the fresh Welsh air, changing scenery and the chance to slow down and experience the natural surroundings of Bala.
Dog Woodland Walk
Let your four-legged friend lead the adventure along our woodland dog walk, surrounded by trees, natural scents and plenty to investigate along the way. A lovely opportunity for a relaxed, sniff-filled walk while you both enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Dog Activity Area
Add a little extra fun to your dog’s day in our golf course edge dog activity area. Have a go at the hurdles and other activities, surrounded by the sights, sounds and smells of our grounds - perfect for some playful enrichment and quality time together.

Bala Lake Hotel also offers corporate group team-building days. We have a variety of activities that can be run depending on your teams requirements.
We have on-site meeting rooms, accommodation, as well as a range of outdoor activities, which can be incorporated into events, all led by experienced Partner instructors.
